Taycan Speed Racing

The new Taycan Turbo S features the highest acceleration of any production Porsche. To illustrate this, RedRabbit was commissioned by Porsche to create an interactive table where the user can compare the acceleration of the Taycan Turbo S to six other “really fast” opponents. While the Taycan Turbo S is represented as a car model moving magically over the table the 6 opponents are shown at the same scale on a large ultra-wide screen integrated into the table.

The interactive table combines physical motion effects, 3D computer animation, lighting effects, and sound design into a single memorable experience. Originally conceived for the Porsche Booth at the 2019 IAA in Frankfurt, Red Rabbit adjusted the design of the table to fit into the booth of the 2020 Fascination Porsche roadshow and developed all the mechanics and content from the ground up.

With the first stop of 2020 Fascination Porsche 2020 in Foshan completed successfully, we are all looking forward to the opening of stop No.2 in Jiujiang in Jiangxi on June 25th.

As the roadshow is dedicated to a Chinese audience, the brand wanted to add more Chinese Elements. Besides moving the races to a more Chinese countryside, we also visualized the Taycan racing against the Monkey King. Can you guess who won?
